Internal Audit is responsible for conducting 3rd line of Assurance activities in the company. Internal Audit is an independent body that reports to the Board of Director’s Audit and Risk Committee and to the CEO and EMT. Internal Audit is a small team of experienced professionals who are working as auditors in an integrated team. The position reports to VP of Internal Audit and Compliance.

Internal Audit has an ambitious digital agenda, and digitalization and data analysis are key for a modern and a forward-looking audit function. The digitalization of the function will hold both new ways of working, enhance the competency of using new tools, how to use AI in audit and to build effective analytic models to perform analysis of data for audit execution. 
 
Typical work tasks can be: 

  • Build solutions for internal audit execution in Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Perform and/or facilitate data analysis from various data sources based on audit plan.
  • Develop Copilot usage in different data environments.
  • Build relevant analyses, benchmarks, or dashboards in cooperation with colleagues in the Digital function.
  • Collaborate closely with data analytics and performance teams across Aker BP, with and our digital partners/suppliers.
  • Contribute to digital insights activities with high strategic priority.
  • Participate in planning of Audit programme and other key tasks in the audit team.

 
Skills and qualifications: 

  • MSc within Economics, Data or Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with data analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Previous experience from a Business Intelligence / Data Engineer / Analyst role
  • SQL skills, cloud solutions, insight into dimensional modelling and data architecture and experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
  • Advantage if you have worked with API’s, data build tools and programming languages or Azure tools.
  • Experience with risk assessment and risk analysis.
  • Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
  • Familiar to corporate systems and data structures
