BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER/ANALYST

About the job
At HAY, we are currently seeking two new colleagues for our analytics department: a Business Intelligence Analyst for a permanent position and a Business Intelligence Developer for a maternity cover lasting for approximately one year.
Both roles are in a team of four experts, who are driving the company's transition into a data-centric organization. In this dual-faceted role, you'll be pivotal in both developing our data warehouse and crafting insightful reports and dashboards that empower timely, accurate decision-making.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to understand and refine their data needs
- Extract, transform, and load data to build a robust semantic model
- Create and enforce organizational standards for data visualization
- Design intuitive dashboards and reports for various end-users, streamlining business intelligence processes
Your Impact:
- Elevate decision-making with a strong emphasis on data and facts
- Produce tailored dashboards and reports for executives and stakeholders
- Ensure uniform reporting practices across departments
- Simplify data sharing with external parties
Are you the Analyst or Developer we are looking for?
What We Expect:
- An analytical and problem-solving intellectual with a strong inclination for data-driven strategies
- Excellent critical thinking abilities and a profound interest in delving deep into data
- A self-starter with the initiative to independently manage and execute tasks
You'll Need:
- An MSc in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to data warehouse design
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or DAX is highly beneficial - while expertise in these areas is not mandatory, it will be considered a significant asset to your application
