Job Description

Our Analytics and Platform Solutions team supports our customers from various industries along the entire value chain in dealing with data. In this context, data-driven solutions are developed for strategic business management. For example, complex data-driven products are developed, including machine learning. Building entire data infrastructures is also part of the service portfolio.

Support the Analytics and Platform Solutions team in Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart or Berlin immediately as an intern (full-time) for at least 3-4 months or as a working student for 16-20 hours per week for at least 6 months.

Your tasks will be:

  • Taking over internal tasks focusing on data architecture, data engineering and other data-driven topics
  • Supporting internal projects for the development of tools along the entire ETL or ELT process
  • Active participation in further development of our infrastructure using database technologies and cloud computing

Qualifications

  • Degree (FH/University) in a quantitative field (Business Informatics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics), ideally first practical experience in data engineering’
  • Enthusiasm for defining and implementing data management frameworks including data governance, metadata management, data lifecycle etc.
  • Good knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Postgres, SQL Server, Cassandra, Redis) and ETL processes
  • Solid knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java)
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, Apache Spark), cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and initial experience in SAP is an advantage
  • Very good English and good German skills
