About the Role

Clusivity is seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to develop and implement machine learning models that support our diversity and inclusion initiatives. This role involves both research, development, and deployment of new technologies that can identify, analyze, and promote inclusivity within our client organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms tailored to advance diversity and inclusion within client organisations.

  • Collaborate with co-founders, product designers, developers, and customers to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.

  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and patterns related to workplace diversity and inclusion.

  • Develop tools that assist companies in monitoring and enhancing their diversity policies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML technologies into our products.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML advancements including regarding ethics, fairness, and data privacy.

  • Prepare reports and presentations to explain model behavior and insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a data scientist/Machine Learning /AI developer with a portfolio of relevant projects.

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.

  • Ability to write robust, testable, and efficient code.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, NLTK).

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and Generative AI services, such as OpenAI, is desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic startup environment.

  • Experience deploying models using Google Cloud services, Scrum, and Jira is a plus.

  • Passion for applying AI/ML to solve problems related to diversity and inclusion.
